In the process of use, the battery in each battery life is very different, this is because: the battery is in series form, and the capacity and performance of each battery is not the same, which causes the imbalance of charge and discharge; When the battery pack is in use, each unit is affected by factors such as inconsistent temperature field, resulting in inconsistent aging process. The repeated charging and discharging process aggravates the imbalance phenomenon. Due to the bucket principle, the life of the battery with poor performance will shorten the life of the battery pack.

The causes of battery inconsistency are as follows:

1. In the manufacturing process, due to technological problems, uneven materials and differences in aging process, even batteries of the same type in the same factory can not be completely consistent in capacity, internal resistance and voltage.

2. During the loading and use, the temperature field and ventilation conditions of each battery in the battery pack, the degree of self-discharge and the difference in the charging and discharging process, to a certain extent, also increase the inconsistency of battery parameters. 

3.The corrosion rate of battery grid varies.
