How many years does the power supply bottle last?

Automatic start-stop technology, which was once all the rage, has received much less attention. Instead, everyone is concerned about: how many years do I need to replace my power supply bottle? What is a start-stop battery?

Start-stop battery refers to valve-controlled lean glass fiber battery (AGM battery) or enhanced rich liquid battery (EFB battery), mainly to meet the needs of automotive start-stop system. The start-stop battery features larger battery capacity, faster charging and discharging, and longer service life.

 

Automatic start and stop, because in practical applications, will frequently start the engine, and start the engine requires a large current, which requires the power bottle to have a large capacity, can be charged quickly, fast storage of electricity characteristics. Compared with batteries of the same specifications, start-stop batteries have the following advantages:

Both AGM and EFB are charged and discharged frequently every day as the car travels. It is extremely easy to lose power and thus fail to start. However, its own characteristics limit the embarrassing situation that other batteries cannot help if there is a loss of power. It can only start properly if it is recharged or a new battery is installed, which is why many owners turn off the automatic stop and start voluntarily. Therefore, electricity loss is an important cause of shortening or damage to its service life! About 3 years of use should often test, timely supplement electricity, and even ready to replace the new battery.
