In order to avoid overcharge and overdischarge, we need to use a suitable charger, charge according to the capacity and voltage of the battery, and do not charge or discharge for a long time until the battery cannot supply power. 3. Adjust your balance

In general, the appropriate operating temperature of lead-acid batteries is 15-25 ° C, if the temperature exceeds 40 ° C or below 0 ° C, the capacity of the battery will decrease significantly, and the effect of charge and discharge will become worse. Therefore, we should try to avoid the use or storage of batteries in high or low temperature environments, and if they must be used, some heat preservation or cooling measures should be taken, such as adding insulation layers or cooling fans.

 

 

5. prevent short circuit and vibration

Short circuit and vibration are the two fatal injuries of lead-acid batteries, which can lead to the increase of internal resistance of the battery, the rise of temperature, the loss of active substances, and the deformation of the plate, which seriously affect the performance and safety of the battery. In order to prevent short circuit and vibration, we should pay attention to the wiring and fixing of the battery to avoid contact between the positive and negative electrodes of the battery or contact with metal objects, resulting in short circuit. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the battery is firmly installed and avoid driving on the bumpy road, causing the vibration of the battery.

Regular charging, avoiding deep discharges, avoiding high temperature environments, using the right charger and regular inspection and maintenance are all very important maintenance methods.
